The day of your bridal portraits is
the day you start truly feeling like a bride. Yes, there may have been tears of
joy at the bridal salon when you found “the” dress, but the day of your bridal
portraits everything is finally coming together. Your hair and makeup are
looking wedding day ready, you have the dress on, and you have your bouquet in
hand.
We all know that a bridal portrait
session is a fun way to give your wedding day ensemble a test run, but it may
be even more important than you think. After months of planning and stressing,
you may have fluctuated in size. By scheduling your bridal portraits a month or
two before the wedding, you will be able to put on your dress, move around in
it, and make sure that alterations can be made if necessary! Of course you will
look fabulous on your wedding day, but it is important to make sure you will be
comfortable in your dress and shoes for hours and hours.
Another plus to having a bridal
portrait session is having plenty of bridal portraits to choose from! The day
of your wedding you want to be relaxing and spending time with your guests, not
running around taking pictures with different lighting setups and backdrops. By
scheduling a two or three hour bridal session, your photographer will be able to
take you to several locations and capture portraits in different lights. Not
only will you have plenty of unique shots, you will be able to pick the perfect
portrait to display at your reception!
